Why is WeR1 subscription only

WeR1 is about supporting artists and rights holder fairly. We can only do this when we recognize these rights and want to contribute fairly to who and what we listen too.

This is why we don't have a free model, and ensure that your subscription, 70% flows through to these artists you listen too.
